Til de flestes overraskelse var det en ung arkitektstuderende, S\u00f8ren Robert Lund, der vandt konkurrencen om det nye museum ved Ish\u00f8j i 1988.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div style=\"float: right; width: 400px;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; height: 400px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/u\/1\/embed?mid=11l5lEOuNKcoiyL8NgPAjY8vR2d8&amp;z=15&amp;ll=55.6062, 12.3874\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/copenhagenarchitecture.dk\/da\/kort-over-arkitektur-i-koebenhavn\/\">Full map<\/a><\/div>\n<p>Helt p\u00e5 linie med den internationale dekonstruktivismes (omfattende) tankegods og foretrukne formsprog tr\u00e6kker projektet p\u00e5 linier og referencer og skaber dramatiske og ekspressive former og rum, tilsyneladende tilf\u00e6ldigt og kaotisk.<\/p>\n<p>I dette tilf\u00e6lde stammer inspirationen fra forestillingen om et stort skibsvrag, der er strandet p\u00e5 kysten. Deraf en del maritime referencer og de lange,\u00a0svungne hovedrum.<\/p>\n<p>Selvom dekonstruktivismen internationalt forbindes med de st\u00f8rste arkitekter som\u00a0Daniel Libeskind, Saha Hadid og Frank Gehry, f\u00e6ngede den ikke yderligere an i dansk arkitektur. Derfor er Arken det helt prim\u00e6re danske eksempel, m\u00e5ske det eneste.<\/p>\n<p>I en dansk kontekst synes den dekonstruktivistiske arkitektur ofte effektjagende og skabagtig, meget i mods\u00e6tning til den n\u00f8gterne, danske tradition (l\u00e6s <a href=\"https:\/\/copenhagenarchitecture.dk\/da\/arkitektur-i-koebenhavn\/\">min overordnede kommmentar til dansk og k\u00f8benhavns arkitektur<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Personligt, f\u00f8dt, opvokset og uddannet som arkitekt i Danmark, er jeg ikke imponeret af dekonstruktivismens bulder og kunstf\u00e6rdige manerer. I mine \u00f8jne er denne bygning &#8211; liges\u00e5vel som de internationale eksempler &#8211; mere skulptur end arkitektur. Og som s\u00e5dan en \u00e6stetisk oplevelse, der s\u00e5 sandelig bidrager med dramatiske, rumlige forl\u00f8b og Kodak moments, visuelt stimulerende synsvinkler.<\/p>\n<p>Museet \u00e5bnede i 1996.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/copenhagenarchitecture.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/17-02-15-Arken-Museum-of-Modern-Art-DSC_5270-1.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-WvnUS1aX\"
