It was almost just too obvious to pick Bjarke Ingels to design the LEGO House in Billund. And likewise, he just had to design it like an upscaled LEGO set.

Maersk Tower by C. F. Møller Architects an impressive achievement. The architectural concept is strong and consistent, but not overly so. The spatial layout is varied and with a delicate balance between drama and restrain. A truly Danish quality of architecture. And it features a unique bike fly-over! ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■
Opened recently, BIG has also entered the field of social housing in an upcoming area in north west part of Copenhagen. Dortheavej 2A is a social housing scheme with small and mid size rental apartments.
